EA Sports Releases NHL15 Cover Vote, Patrice Bergeron on Ballot

Just when you thought the hockey world couldn’t get any more exciting, EA Sports comes in with a haymaker and releases the cover vote for NHL15. Between May 5th and May 18th, fans can go on www.covervote.nhl.com and pick their choices for the next poster boy. It looks like the voting will take place bracket style. Here are the matchups:

Phil Kessel vs. PK Subban

PATRICE  BERGERON vs. Erik Karlsson

Logan Couture vs. Drew Doughty

Matt Duchene vs. TJ Oshie

All are great choices, obviously. Young, talented, and beloved by their respective fan bases. Bergy definitely has a tough matchup right away against the slickest offensive defenseman in the league right now. They are all good candidates if you ask me. Yes, even Subban. And don’t sleep on Oshie either, who garnered national attention after his Olympic shootout performance against Russia.

Bruins fans, put on your voting caps. Let’s get Bergy on the cover!
