Former Boston Red Sox third base coach Wendell Kim has died. He was 64 years old. Kim was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease following his retirement from baseball a decade ago. He last served as third base coach for the Cubs. Kim was third base coach for the Red Sox under Jimy Williams from 1997-2000.
